We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Grinder Operator to support precision manufacturing operations. This role involves operating CNC grinding equipment to produce tight-tolerance components while meeting quality, safety, and productivity standards. Candidates with a strong quality mindset, attention to detail, and experience in grinding operations are encouraged to apply.
Operate CNC grinding machines (OD, ID, surface, or centerless depending on operation)
Load and unload parts and verify correct setup and tooling
Monitor grinding processes to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
Read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and basic GD&T
Make offsets and minor adjustments to maintain part quality
Identify wheel wear, dressing requirements, and process issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety, quality, and standard work procedures
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous CNC grinding experience strongly preferred
Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
Experience using micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, and other precision tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Training may be available for candidates with related machining experience and a strong desire to learn CNC grinding.
